We spent hours at the Temple of Sinewava. Mostly throwing rocks in the river and hanging with extended family. It was very hot. But there was some shade and the river was cold.
The boys were in heaven.
Ev got ambitious and tried to find the biggest rocks he could to drop into the river.
He liked the big splashes.
Ev tried climbing this rock. He was frustrated at first. But, he persisted and soon had it mastered.
Ev was bested by this giant rock. No matter how much he tried, he could not pick it up.
So he went for more manageable throwing objects. And he actually got in the water, which is huge for Ev. He does not like water.
Riley gave me a physical demonstration of the man who built his house upon the sand and the man who built his house upon the rock. It was funny.
Riley spent most of his time going to and from this rock in the middle of the river.
Ev stole my sandwich. And was very proud of himself for doing it.
He wanted me to really see how much he was enjoying it.
And he knew he was totally getting away with it. Because he is adorable.
