So my Baby Ev loves Penelope. (Mia, he calls her)
So imagine his feelings when it was time to go get Mia and the Baby. He was feeling pretty betrayed that she had the audacity to replace him.
Jaz tried to distract him with games on a phone but...that couldn't cover up his broken heart.
He tried to leave. Sorry dude. Three year olds aren't allowed to take off on their own.
The rest of these pictures are in a crazy order. Sorry. Essentially, eventually baby and mom were discharged and made it home.
The baby whisperer was in full force.
Still feeling betrayed...
Ev was pretty shady about Baby coming home with us. So James did his best to distract him.
Thank you to all the friends who leant us baby gear and clothes. This all was very quick and we feel very blessed to have so much support.
And this has been the scene several times this weekend. Either Baby is with his mom or he is cuddling up to Uncle James.
They make a cute pair...
