Recovering from major surgery and becoming a new mom are two very big things in a person's life. Doing them at the same time is downright exhausting.
So far, Penelope is recovering well and is a very attentive mother.
Baby was born with a full head of hair. And it is so soft. So, so soft.
Grandpa or G-Pa as he prefers to be called got lots of cuddle time in. Most people who have met my husband are probably surprised that he is such a baby lover. But he is incredibly tender with babies.
And Uncle James is the original baby whisperer. He has a unique gift with little ones. Always has and I hope always will.
And this little one gives a lot of smiles. With dimples. Babies this young don't smile. But he does. And it is adorable.
He has become addicted to skin-to-skin contact. I guess that is a good thing.
