Easter Weekend

On Saturday, it was bunny day!  The bunny left eggs for a hunt and full Easter baskets filled with treats and activities for conference and the pool.  How thoughtful.

While waiting (and waiting) for the tired parents, the boys tried to kill time.  Riley got a duct tape wallet with bacon and minions from Spencer. It is amazing what a little wait time can do.  It's either black eyes and bloody noses or creative, positive projects.  Personally, I like the latter.

Getting ready to go downstairs for bunny day...

We let Baby have some time to himself to collect some eggs.  You know what my sports mad son saw?  A room full of balls.  Instead of picking them up, he threw them.  Oh happy day!

We sent Dad in to try to teach him what to do...

Instead he made flying leaps for the balls...

And threw some out to the waiting crowd.

The boys were eagerly cheering him on from the base of the stairs, where they waited to be let free.

After a few minutes, it was time to unleash the masses.

...and Baby stopped for a quick treat.

The Easter Bunny brought some shark stuff for Riley...

...and Baby asked for his goldfish.

They got some treats that remind me of my grandpa...

...and some sporting equipment for the outdoor golf course.

Dad made a beautiful and delicious breakfast of cinnamon rolls, blueberry scones, and fruit.

And the eldest proved that he is not a vegetarian...

...and this guy isn't one either...

...or this guy.

After the fun, we settled down to watch general conference.  What a treat!

And on Sunday, we were able to catch conference again and enjoy the blessings of the atonement of our Savior.
