Not only did the boys do a great job weeding, there was very little complaining. Success!
We weeded for almost three hours, filled up the green waste bin, and turned our tree (which was beginning to resemble a leafy bush) into a perfect climbing tree.
We only got the front yard mostly done. We still have the side yards and the backyard to do but that will have to wait until we have more room in our trash can. Until then...the boys will be playing.
And this little one was very helpful too. We all worked to keep him out of the street and in the meantime, he had a little shovel that he worked with, bringing leaves and dirt to share.
He also found out that our neighbors end brick is loose and can be removed for a special hiding spot. I had to put it back together at least a dozen times.
Here he is, patting the seat next to him for me to join him. He does this a lot lately. It is very endearing.
